I used to wonder that too, but I was also on doal up once, and noe I have an anti virus taht cuts the adsl connection when it finishes downloading updates.

see there could be many things that interupt a persons connection and causes them to restart their downloads

any suggestion for us graphics oriented people who still use Mac's? I have OSX v 10.4.4

I have a DSL connection, but it still takes time to d/l some big videos that don't work and of course without a rapid share account I might as well have the dial up, because I have to wait an hour or more before I can "try" something else.

Hey sir_darkstar, thanks for the codec pack. I have so many codecs loaded up now that there starting to conflict with one another. Hopefully this one does the trick. Cool

I know how you feel Photo1

before my last reformat I had every possible codec installed, since the format I only run the two above and have not had any problems. I should point out I am also running windows media player 10.

good luck peoples

These codecs should cover most of the things you will ever use on a Mac.

One little piece of advice if you plan to load up Sir D's codec pack. Remove you're old codecs first or you may have problems. I did.

Sir D's codecs work great. Cool

I know that a lot of people are worried about installing codec packs but I can assure you that this one is safe. I had it installed on my last comp for over a year and now on my new Vista machine. It provides pretty much every codec given the acception of 3ivx.
