Predicted scores of this Wednesday's lil' spat in Spain:

Barca 5, Chelsea 4 -- number of shameless dives Embarassed (nothing against Barca but the home team always does more)

Chelsea 4, Barca 3 -- number of yellow cards

ZERO -- number of yellow cards given for shameless dives (this is the number that needs to change over time)

Chelsea 5, Barca 3 -- number of times the players will crowd around the ref begging and pleading Mad

Barca 3, Chelsea 1 -- final score of the game. Cool Will be closer but Barca will score a late goal to put it out of reach.

Also, IMHO you don't give a red card just because you missed calling a yellow card on the same player earlier. But I agree that it would have been justified blah blah blah, don't worry. Very Happy

By the way, where on earth are the Real Madrid fans? Don't they like looking at beautiful girls? Or would they rather look at Beckham? Twisted Evil

Finally, since I'm liking most of these "Juventa Club" pictures I'm finding, I'm thinking that Juventus should be my favorite team. Rolling Eyes Mr. Green Mr. Green

p.s. Dio - couldn't agree more about Robben. He's a knob.

Personally, I like the Real Madrid players but I'm not too fond of the Madrid fans. Racist chanting is common at Spanish football grounds and the Santiago Bernabeu is among the worst in my opinion. So I'll be supporting Arsenal on Wednesday night and I hope they knock Madrid out Twisted Evil

Yup, you may be right, Barca might just be the best team at the moment. Thats a bit tough for a die-hard Liverpool fan to admit though...

But Barcas attack is just fantastic. It´s good to see that creative and offensive football pays off. And they do reside in the coolest city in europe aswell!!! From that perspective I truly hope they win this years CL.

The red card in the last CL match was well-deserved. Del Horno had no intentions whatsoever of winning the ball. In slow motion you can even see him raise one leg towards Messi´s upper body. Thats an attempt to harm you ask me (funny, the pitch seems to be the only arena you can get away with violence like that without risking involvement by the police...). And, in all fairness, his first attack on Messi kind of qualified for a red card aswell. The fact that Messi roles around a little extra is totally beside the point wether it was a red card or not. It´s a fu... disgrace how more and more players are turning into cheaters and wankers. That includes all the acting and whining. It´s getting to the point of embarassment for all who love the game. And to rant a bit extra, Mourinho is proving to be a fucking joke. If I´m halfway as pathetic and ****ish like that guy when I reach his "mature" age, feel free to shoot me. The guy has no class whatsoever.

Btw, there´s a T-shirt to be bought for Chelsea-haters of the ref that sent Del Horno off. Some companies do act quickly when theres a buck to be made... Wrong color on the shirt though, should have been red.

Samuel Eto'o was close to walking off the field during Barca's game against Real Zaragoza a few weeks ago because of the level of racist abuse coming from the Zaragoza fans. I also remember that he got a lot of abuse in the game against Getafe too. All that might finally be coming to an end now because FIFA has finally decided to take serious action against racist chanting at football games.

Under the new rules, a team whose fans carry out racist chanting during games could face a 3 point deduction. If they continue with racist behaviour then they could face a 6 point deduction. The most severe punishment would be relegation or expulsion from a competition. It certainly makes a change from the paltry fines that UEFA used to hand out.

I think tonight Barca proved they are the best side in the world by winning the Champions League Trophy. Along the way they had to beat Chelsea, AC Milan and of course Arsenal. The referee spoiled the game by sending off the Arsenal keeper. It would have been better to have given Barca the goal and kept it 11 vs. 11. Instead, Lehmann was sent off and Pires had to be substituted in his final game for Arsenal. It also meant Arsenal had to be more defensive. So they stifled a lot of Barca's attacks and they themselves couldn't play their normal attacking game. So it was a shame for the spectators.

I think the best side won though and when Messi returns next season, Barca will be even stronger. I thought Henry would be joining them this summer but after the things he said in his post-match interview I doubt that will happen. Now that the Champions League is finished I can't wait to watch the World Cup.

I always thought the Pittsburgh Steelers were the best football team on the planet.

Oh wait. Never mind. Smile

For some reason, I have this image of 300-pound men in helmets and padding just kicking the shit out of a European football team in short pants and knee socks.

Kind of a funny picture actually. Very Monty-Python-esque.
