Odds
Barca 5-1
R Madrd 6-1
Chelsea 7-1
Man U 8.5-1
Arsenal 11-1
Inter 13-1
Liverpool 13-1

Man U to win, beat Real on the way and get revenge on Barca in the Final Very Happy 2-0

(other teams were not listed for GOOD reason)
And why do Turrkish fans turn their backs?

I wish I shared your optimism bil, but I don't even see United getting to the Final. Losing CR & Tevez (people always leave him out for some reason), meant 100 goals over the past 2 years left with them and not much was done to replace them. Sure, WR is gonna score a bunch as he's the featured man but #11 is a year older, #18 can only come off the bench otherwise he gets sent off (still love him), #9 ain't working out and Carrick sure is stinking it up of late. Depending on the draw for the knockout stages United will be lucky to make the Semis.

Unfortunately I think it's Chelsea's year. If not them, I could see either of the Spansih sides doing it, maybe Inter.

As for the Turks - wow, I wouldn't want to play there as a visitor. That jeering was incredibly annoying and the chanting sounded like someone was set to be executed. Very intimidating place, but a win is a win Smile

I think Chelsea are going to do it this year as well.

Their main players know they do not have many chances left and after all the flack they have taken recently, I think a siege mentality will set in.

Thinking about it;
the surprise a be if a english club makes it to the quarter finals, what with the way FIFA, Blatter and that snivelling piece of shite Platini have been behaving. Quarter finals, lucky to get through the group stages.

Funny thing is when spain, italy and the other European clubs dominated there wasnt a big problem, in fact there was no problem. All this crap about english white wash;
what about the Real Mdarid-Valencia Final or Milan-Juve Final. Can anyone remember an all-English final other then ManU-Chelsea?

Chelsea do look strong and yeah a lot of thier players can not keep playing at this level for much longer, old man rot will set in soon enough. But they wont win. Dont forget Barca, but Madrid have spent millions and millions. Blatter wont mind them doing that, they'll probably win.

All spanish Final -
with not one word of complaint from FIFA

yea its true we shouldnt 4get about barca but take a look
at the champions league winners past years.
it never ever happend that a team won the title 2 times in a row
just in case u didnt knew. man utd was able to last season but barca decieded to track them down.
yes real madrid is very strong and they have fantastic unique players
but u cant buy success!
football is a team sport not a solo one man show sport but
real madrid could make it tho of course.
chelsea have old players its true but they still in top form
i dont think they will get lazy at the end of the season.
im not a chelsea fan at all but i think its about time 4 the club.

I totally agree. The FIFA powers that be are such hypocrites. I won't rant but when England spends money it's bad for the sport, but when Spain does it you hear nothing. Hell, last year Ronaldo should have been able to leave because it was good for the game. Pickle chuggers.

I'd like nothing more than see Madrid perish as I consider them to be the worst of the snake oil salesmen. If Barca had to repeat to prevent it, I'd be all for it.
However, I can't remember the last time 2 of the 3 best players in the sport were on the same side - Messi is #2 (in my eyes). If they don't win Perez is gonna be castrated - it will be fun to watch Razz

'tis a looooong season gents and it's gonna be a fun ride.

Such a surprise after Milan beat Real last night. With AC Milan's recent form, I thought it would have been an easy win for Real. But surprises are good for enjoyment sometimes Smile
