I dont know what ever happened to this rule or why they got there own section??

I say ban and delete, but I dont have that power.

They have taken over 95% of the board.

I dont want to waste my time comming here to move posts everyday for an hour.

I am very close to opining another forum, I closed the last due to holidays. I dont offer a free mebership but I guarante no spam and everyone who doesnt post gets eliminated every 30 days, so no lurkers.

What says you ?

I never knew about the risks of visiting imagecash until I read about it on this board. The fact that people continue to post links to imagecash when they know that visiting the site can possibly infect a person's computer is so out of order. It's a sign of disrespect to everybody here.

If it were up to me, I'd clearly state in the rules section that you'll be instantly banned if you post links to imagecash . Secondly, I'd put a sticky in each section telling people to read the rules before they post.

The board needs to be purged of imagecash posters. If they are deliberately jeopardizing the security of our computers in order to make money then they should all be banned immediately. I'd also like to drown them in a fast-moving river but maybe that's going a little bit over-the-top.

i say the same mandingo delete and ban but like you say you dont have the power...i dont know why people even bother with their pox ridden links anyway!

i totally agree....i had no idea just how bad it was until all that shit from imagecash was on my pc...took fucking forever to get rid of it....MM....is there any way GS can give you that power??....or have him go through and ban the bastards himself??....and no i don't really see the point of having a spam section....i flip through it once in a while just to have a peak because some of the pis that are there are pretty good sometimes but in the end i think it just encourages them to continue posting their crap because its not being deleted....just moved...so i say burn them and ban em we don't need it here

Or maybe we could have people who are trustworthy enough and would/could spend the time to delete spam could be given a type of mod/admin position to delete posts? Just a thought.

I totally agree with you as I have limited time here each visit and would rather post than move and delete crap.

I suggest you all visit my help thread and go find the links to spyware removal tools , I posted free good ones in that thread and I scan daily. Also if spyware blaster isnt in there its another great tool, its a good idea to use a combination of tools to get all the crap out. You will find your pc runs faster when its gone.

FYI I have sent a few pms to GS ,no reply But he is very busy so I do what I can with my limited resources.

One very simple solution would be to use the robo-censor to delete every URL that includes the I-C site. It is set to work for certain words and numbers right now and I know it works with specific domain names.

If any URL contains a link to Imagecash, it just needs to be wiped. The spammers will be discouraged pretty quickly if all their links come up dead.
