Hi,

I am a RS Premium Account holder. Account renewed for another 6 months in April so still valid. Since tonight, however, whenever I click on a rapidshare download, a Login window occurs blocking the way to continue the download.

Never had that before.

Nothing seems to work. Not even correct data typed in.

Do you have any advice?

Thanks very much

Oh dear.

Luckily I just found my password again and logged back in to my Premium Account.

Downloads working again.

Hope I didn´t give the phishers a happy day ...

I had the same issue, I'm not to concerned, I double checked the referrer link and it was okay. An issue with RS maybe?

Might be a RS problem when renewing your account, but:
Whenever you experience strange behavior of your RS sccount, better change your password fast. Phishing attacks can happen to everyone, so maybe think of activating the RS security lock (even if it makes managing your uploaded files harder)
I use the built-in firefox password manager, so when i log in to my RS-account i never have to type in anything by hand (that's what phishers want you to: type in your account data to "their" site)

Or use a password manager like keepass:

KeePass is a free open source password manager and can be installed on a usb stick:

KeePass is portable: it can be carried on an USB stick and runs on Windows systems without being installed.
