MTV Movie Awards

Worst MTV Movie Awards ever. I have nothing against 15 year old girls, but since when do they decide who wins the awards?! Twilight, High School Musical, and that Miley Cyrus chick were all over the awards.. How could Twilight beat out the Dark Knight for best picture?! I guess teen girls texting a million times is probably why it won. The movie parodies were even lame. The only highlight was Jim Carrey's acceptance speech. Anyone else see it?

Yeah pretty much but the eminem/bruno bit was hilarious.

Eminem is played out. I wish he would just stay retired or in obscurity. I just wish that the MTV Movie awards was still for young men, not young girls. I don't care about Twilight or the gay vampires. It's not on the level of High School Musical or Hannah Montana as far as crapiness is concerned, but it's not even close to Iron Man, let alone the Dark Knight for great films.

Regarding the topic-title;
I personally don't watch the MTV movie awards anymore since
about 5 years. To me it became more like a comedy-show than
honoring somebody for his professionally work, in my opinion.
And when I have to read that 15yolds who just don't have the
required knowledge to do this job decide "who gets an award"
then I'm happy that I've broke off watching it.
It's nothing but entertainment now, nothing more...I have more
entertainment between my legs so why wasting my time 4 that...

MTV should leave the teen award show crap to Nickalodion <SP> MTV has gone to hell over the last 10 years.

Let's see:
Newlywed's - CRAP
Real World - Turned to Crap
Pimp my Ride - More Crap, to make it worse they don't improve on the mechanics of the car, they just make them look 'cool'
TRL - Okay at first, teen crap now.

I don't know what other crappy shows they have there now but it is all crap.

When DID it turn into the Teen Choice Awards?! It is clear by the voting that only teenage girls voted this year. Seriously, not to beat a dead horse but how the *bleep did Twilight beat the Dark Knight in any category?!
