Hello, rabidsharer.
It seems that it will get pretty difficult to find a grapiccard which
has to be smaller on the "line A" because the
silver panel of the
card where you plug your monitor in is standard-size so if it has
to be smaller then I have no clue how to order one in these days.
I thought the HD3850 is small because compared to my
actually GPU which I'm using now (HD4870 X2), it's just
like a dwarf.
Here's mine:
Like I've said before,
I have no experience with Nvidea cards!
I've only used ATI cards since I'm dealing with building and
modding computers. I've searched a little bit and found a
smaller card (AGP) of NVIDEA.
This one here: Nvidia Geforce 7600GT AGP (512 MB)
As you can see,
the
silver panel got the same size as the card itself and
I think it can't get any smaller than this. "Line B" is also
shorter than the length of a HD3850.
Sure, there are really small cards like a
Geforce 6200 A out
but I don't think you want them because you've said...
Rapidsharer wrote:...OR G-Force 6800 Or better
Here would be an example regarding the size of the 6200 A:
Still, the card got a memory of 512MB but compared to
all actually graphiccards, it's slow as hell. It depends on
what you want to use it for. I use my GPU to play actually
3D-games like "Far cry 2", "crysis" or "GTA IV" on a
monitor-resolution of 1680x1050 pixel so I could never
run such games on a card like the
G-Force 6200 or
even a
HD3850.
By the way,
not all the online-stores give informations about the size
of a graphiccard, though. Maybe you could google a card
with letters like...
Code: |
geforce 7600GT AGP+test+size |
...or similar words.
It wouldn't make any sense to tell you good "online shops"
as far for hardware because I come from another country
than you. And I can't imagine that you would order (import)
a graphiccard from another country that you could get in
your own country as well. I mean the import would be
more expensive than the card itself.
I'm at the end of all my wisdom and advices so all I
can do is to wish you good luck on finding a videocard
with the perfect size.
Best regards,
Rayden
