How Do You Organize Your Porn?

Just back em up according to category (Amateur, Anal, ... etc) ?

I ran into the problem of recalling which one is which w/o the image and just looking at the file names.

Help!

Need to back up the porn hard drive before it die on me

all in one map, and its a mess

I have yet to find a viable way to sort my hundreds of gb

I started out with good intentions, but it has degenerated into chaos.
If the clip has a black girl, fine: "Black girls".
If the clip has a black girl taking it up the arse, well? : "Black girls" or "Anal"
If she is muff diving at the same time? Ummm.. "Black girls"? "Anal"? "Lesbian"? "Threesome"?
If she is wearing a nuns habit as well? Oh sod it, I'll do it later...

It just gets easier and easier to add it to the "Oh sod it" pile.
Eventually, I end up with an HDD full of unsorted porn, and lack the time or enthusiasm to sort it and archive to DVD.

As my HDD is at the moment.

Hehe, yeah, organizing and sorting hundreds and thousands
of pics and vids is a mess, no doubt.

If you've just started with the collecting, then I'd find a way
to sort it as fast as you can, my personal advice to you.

You'll find out that it's much harder to get the required time
to sort your porn than just to find a way to organize it.

I'm a huge fan of amateur-pictures.
For so called amateur-series, I've build an extra folder
and put each set in an extra folder which ends up in
that "series-folder".
But the best pictures are no full sets and there are
always only 2 or 3 pics availabe of a girl and I sort
those kind of pics in theme-folders like this 1 here:

- Beach
- Tight butts
- Suckers
- Just being cute
- Selfshots
- etc etc...

I've started to sort all my RANDOM-Amateur-Mix-pictures
in this way, though. But it escalated somewhen, you know.
Currently I'm sitting on more than 7000 unsorted pictures
and won't find the time to sort them all with the so called
"theme-folder" method.
I mean, they're getting more and more, day by day and
I'm just collecting over and over but I just can't resolve
myself to put some time into sorting all the pictures.
It's a mess.

All I can really say is that you should start with the
sorting-job better today than tomorrow. Otherwise
you'll find yourself pretty soon in a chaos again.

I tried all the types of sorting and i finally gave up.

now my folders are separated - pics and movies

and each of them has it's own subfolders having the name of the website i downloaded the pics/movies from...

I like to keep my downloaded video clips, and just archive them onto DVDs called "misc vids", sometimes labelling them if they have something I might want to find, e.g. Sandy hardcore.

Sometimes I think I should stop saving random pictures of amateurs and models unless they are really special. There is more fun in looking for new porn than there is looking at old stuff. If I download a set of say 40 pictures of a model, I tend to delete about 35 of them since there are a lot of them that are just leading up to the final, best pictures.

Filed by pics and videos. So it is pretty much a mess.

You need a good slideshow viewer for the pics.

Mostly by studio, though I also have folders for my favorite models, and sometimes by subject/genre (eg, amateurs, Euro, JAV, etc) for miscellaneous stuff that I can't fit in other folders. If I download it from a pay site, I try to keep unique file names if present, though I'll also add names of models and studio abbreviations as well, just in case I want to be able to locate related material in the future.

Mostly its pretty organized, though I also have some unorganized folders that need sorting.

yeah can relate to this, always say I'll get around to reorganising the mess but never get to it and just keep piling more mess in. its hard to keep track though of great films, especially with non descriptive titles. I do have all my fav girls in their own directory though with their straight and lesbian movies and photos in seperate folders

Buy huge HDDs ( Lots of them. 10 to 20 ... or better 30+)

and organise on each HDD your favourite porn.


And don't forget to BACKUP data.

I have about every catagory you can imagine in my HD. The important thing is that whenever you can to lable the folders with the girls name, that way a quick search will find her. All unknown favorites are catorgorized by type of movie or A list or B list. Also I have site rips folders. If you buy external HD, which I highly recommend, buy the 500 gig ones, then back up to several HD's, of your favorites. No media is flawless. I use to back up to DVD's. Sometimes the data gets flawed when writing and you dont find out till its to late.

2.3-Spanish amateur

3.-Pro
-By girl nationality / by name.
-Non identificated girls

4.-Special folders
-Hairy girls
-Short Facials/ Facial compilations
-Older porn
-Vintage porn

B. Pictures:

1.Pro-am girls by name
2.Homemade girls / couples

Not very well, I just have it all in one folder on my desktop!
