Spam or not

I am new to this forum and have posted quite a but in the short time I have been here. I don't know my stats off hand, but I think at least 50% of my posts have been of the contribution type.I typically search my hard drive and posts 5 pics when I find a suitable model. Therefore if I posts it normally only includes 5 pics, but I will post multiple times.

Should I limit all my posts to either Amateur, or Pic posts?

Do the mods frown upon so many pics being posted?

What is a good ratio for pics posted and comments on someone else that is posting pics?

My goal is to have about 50% of my posts to include pics is that a good number to shoot for?

And how many posts a day is too many from the same poster?

I'd say 50% is a good ratio. Do forget you can add video too. or Celeb stuff.

I would say that 50% pic/vid posts is not a bad ratio at all. I guess my ratio is certainly less than that but I do try to make sure that my comment postings are meaningful.

I only give thanks/praise for posts which I have particularly liked. And I will join in discussions, such as this one, where I have something specific to say.

In my view, the success (and enjoyment for members) depends on a mixture of good quality pic/vid posts and constructive comments and discussions. My pet dislike are the 'spam' posts which link to a free front page of a website showing a few pics of a model and an invitation to join up to see more. Anyone can browse the net and find thousands of them. What I think members most like to see is the harder to find stuff and that can include things that are not generally available now but were a few years ago.

So don't limit yourself to 50% or whatever. Make comments and join in with discusssions if you have something to say. And don't go aiming for the 300, 500 etc. post rewards by posting a lot. I find it's much more enjoyable taking part and sharing than aiming for the those goals.

As for posts per day - just remember that there are a lot of pics and vids posted every day. We all have limits on time so if you have a lot to post then take your time. That will give everyone more chance to see everything.

I like 60-40 but 50-50 will do.

I only post pics, I assume since I have not had any complaints on the placement of pics that I have been doing alright. If one of the mods wants me to just post in the pic posting forum I will do so. Otherwise I will continue to try and place my posts in the appropriate forum.

I have not posted in a while due to the holidays, but I hope to get back into my old routine of a few posts a day.

I've posted 100 posts in about a month, I would think that about 70-80% of my posts have been of the contribution type. I am hoping to keep this up on my way to 300 and beyond.
