What's the best Downloader for capturing a page of JPEG images where each thumbnail takes you to another page when clicked on.

My finger's getting tired of all the clicking to get them all! Confused

Internet Download Manager is good. Right click, select "download all links with IDM" and pretty much off you go...

I gave it a try, but the the program can download hundreds of other unwanted links before it gets to the desired pics. Maybe it'll get easier with practice.

I'm using two programs within firefox. One is Imagegrabber and the other is DownThemAll. If one of them fails the other will do the job. Wink

that might work for your needs? I'm not sure. the folder structure might not end up how you want it.

You 'Drag & Drop' the thumbnails you want to download and it does the rest Wink

Thanks for all your suggestions. I used to use a website download program in the past, but I just cannot remember which one it was. It had the facility to enter in unwanted URLs to limit the number of additional links in a webpage. I used to have Net Transport, and Get Right, maybe it was one of those.

I tried another such program recently, pointing it to a single page of thumbs of the type that open up in secondary pages. But it found over 3000 links by the time it had explored all the secondary links!

FireFox's DownThemAll wasn't successful at all. In the above page of links, all I got was a number of 'blank' FireFox pages without any images at all.

Now - if I could just remember what that other program was! Confused
