Hello, fellow forumophiliacs! Cool

A poster recently requested that I started embedding my preview pics instead of just posting the link. Personally, I prefer pages without embedding, because they load faster and I can pick and choose which previews I'd like to check out. However, I've noticed the majority of people do embed their pics, so I thought I'd put it to a vote...how do you prefer your previews?

The load speed isn't a real problem for me, and it means it is a lot easier to see what the post is all about - no preview, no download!

I prefer embedded even though it makes the load time slower. From my point of view it takes just a long to load up the link. I would think if you are interested enough in the thread or post to open it up to begin with you are likely interested enough to wait for a preview picture to load up. However I can understand how users with slower connections might not prefer it.

You should all read the rules and guidelines.
Embedded images has a sizelimit of 650x1300 pixels.
Thumbs are preferred.

That's right but I think 650x1300 is large enough to decide whether I want to DL a clip or not.
A thumb needs 1 click more and opens in a new tab. I don't like it.

Thanks for the replies and guidance, friends!

Looks like I was holding on to my old 'dial-up' mentality... Razz
