Hi,

regarding the storing of PMs, can someone explain the difference between outbox and sentbox?

When i send a PM it is stored in the outbox.
I assumed it would go to the sentbox (as in a mail client)

In other words: What purpose does the sentbox have?

TIA

Hi rainman.

The outbox is where the PMs are stored, pending to be read by the recipient.
Once the recipient have opened the PM to be read, a copy of the PM will be transfered to your sentbox indicating that it has been recieved.
The PM in the sentbox could either be used by you for future reference what you actually sent or deleted since it's just your copy of the PM.

Hi svinto,

many thx for that quick reply.

Meanwhile the PM was read by the recipient and moved to sentbox as you described.
