The first thing you need to do is to read the rules(https://www.forumophilia.com/topic53075.html)! These aren't heavy - just politeness realy - except do review the list of permitted hosts for video and pics, as the moderators can, will and do get upset with infractions. They only permit some sites as others can be a pain with pop-ups, deletions and so forth. If you do ignore these lists, you will be warned and / or banned!
If you are completely new to this posting bit, then there are a few thing you need to sort out.
1) Prepare the clips on your computer - make sure that you remove spaces from the file names as these can cause a problem. See also the suggestions under "rules" above. It is a GOOD idea to RAR, HJSPLIT or FFSJ your files into peices about 100meg or so as this fits with free download restrictions at various hosts (though these are changing upwards).
2) Prepare any pics on your computer - remove spaces again!
3) Decide on a file host for your clips. While you can post these directly to the forum, most clips are too big realy. Most people use Rapidshare or netload, but the full list of permitted hosts is here (https://www.forumophilia.com/topic23501.html) It is probably an idea to set up an account with the file host as this make organising things easier.
4) Upload your clips to the file host - make a note of the URL they give you, as if you have no account it can be difficult if not impossible to find the link again! This can take quite a while, so allow spare time...
5) Decide on a host for your pics. It is a good idea to give thumbnails of pictures with clips to give people an idea what the clip contains - much better than a description. Provided they are small, you can upload sample pics to the site itself, via the "Add an Attachment" part of the post process.
6) Work out where to put them. Either create a new thread, or add them to an existing thread (if applicable and the thread creator doen't seem to mind - some can get a little shirty about what they see as hijacking).
7) Post your clips. When describing them, be aware that all posts are auto censored, so ANY references to censored will be replaced with censored! Use the "Preview" button to check your post before submitting it.
Don't expect any thanks! Nobody says thanks. This bothers some people, but I tend to think that someone who says thanks a lot is probably just trying to boost their post count...

Good write-up AltonTowers. I don't think there is any restrictions on size* for the attachments here though. Definitely use the preview before you actually post your posts, doing this, you can basically "teach" yourself.
If you get an error when trying to post, don't hit the back button and try it again, that's how you end up with multiple duplicate posts...just bring up the homepage again and check if your post went through as it almost always already has.
