My resolution for this year is "don't worry, be happy". My goal is to not let things get to me, have fun, enjoy life completely.

Every single year before was pretty much lose weight/get fit, but about 2 years ago I lost some weight and am looking pretty hot now if I do say so myself (hehe modest much) Laughing

Good luck on quitting smoking. You'll need it. It's going to be rough, but if your mind is in it you'll succeed. If you ask a dozen ex smokers how they did it you will likely get a dozen different answers. I made the commitment and then just waited for the right time before I made the move. I wanted to do it on a weekend and at a time when there was as little stress on me as possible. About six months after I decided to do it I ran into the most stress free time period I've had in years. School was going great, my family was doing fine, and my own health and personal life were fine. I had spent the months between making the commitment and making the actual move studying everything I could find about quitting and getting myself mentally ready, which is probably the most important part of the process. I had decided on using the patch, so when the right time came I called up the quack and told her to write the prescription. I'm not going to kid you, it really was rough, but I was lucky and that calm period lasted about a week and half before things went back to their normal insanity, but that was enough to get me through the worst of it. It was so bad that I even missed school and work because of withdrawal symptoms. My mind was in it though and I only wanted to go through the torture once. Now it's been a year and a half and I'm still off. I still get urges once in a while, but just ignore them.

There are a lot of great resources on the net. Don't be afraid to use them. And think of all the porn you can get with the bucks you'll save Laughing.
