joining files

What is the best way to join movie files together? I sometimes download a file that doesn't unzip into a single video, and hate having to start the next clip when I am watching..

hjsplit works only in special cases for me...


is that something I can fix by simply changing the names of the files? (so that hjsplit can find them?)

it leaves a watermark in th finished product but just at the beginning it seems... I can live with that I think...


anyone know of a free version?
