In the FAQ's, listed under "Formatting and Topic Types", Qeustion# 4 is:
"Can I post Images?".
This is the answer:
"Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display the image use either the BBCode [img] tag or appropriate HTML (if allowed)."

I was just curious, is this an old rule that just has not been updated?
Above you guys say:
"However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server..."
Isn't tinypic.com a "publicly accessible web server."?
"tinypic.com" seems to be the perfect "facility" for uploading images directly to any board. Even full screen HDTV pics and pretty much any size file. No registering or redirecting of any kind. And super fast.
Did you guys get in a fight with tinypic.com or something, because it works perfect on this board (posted my 1st topic with tinypic.com previews yesterday) and the pics were all up and looking good, after a little bit a mod corrected them by removal. Which is totally fine by me, it's no big deal at all. Rules are rules and i'm not tring to start anything. lol. I was just wondering why tinypic.com looks like the only one left out of the list. lol, its a long list man.

I'm not asking you to add tinypic.com to the list, i could care less. I just wanted to know what makes these sites approvable, and tinypic.com is not. Is there a security risk with tinypic.com maybe?
Ok. thanks. All is GOOD in the world. This forum ROCKS!!!!!
