"This Jess Franco film actually become a huge hit and somewhat historical in his country of Spain. While filming this movie Spain finally removed their no porn policy so Franco went and shot some hardcore scenes making this the countries first (legal) porno. To call this a porno is pretty unfair and takes away from the film because the added scenes are really just there to extend the already there sex scenes. Lilian (Katja Bienert) is found in the desert, near death but when she awakens she tells her savior (Robert Foster) of the hell house she escaped from. She was being held captive by a couple (Emilio Linder, Lina Romay) who ran a brothel and **** her into various sexual acts. In the end, this film is basically about **** abuse and the label of being the first Spanish porno is probably going to keep most people away from watching it, which is a shame. I personally wouldn't object to an edited version with the hardcore scenes removed because the film is very strong in its technical style as well as its storytelling. The cinematography is top notch, the music score by Pablo Villa is excellent and Franco wonderfully captures that dreamlike nature that only he can build. This was my first time seeing 17-year-old Katja Bienert and she was very good in the role, perfectly capturing the innocence of her character and the eventual innocence lost."

For reasons explained only later in a flashback, Olinka drives off to the coast to a house owned by Gabriel Pontello for comfort, but she is upstairs when he arrives with his girlfriend and Olinka sees them having sex. She is persuaded to be reconciled to this however. Then Laura Clair arrives and Olinka immediately drags her off to the pool. Gabriel and his girlfriend watch then Gabriel joins them after having the girlfriend at the window. She cavorts in front of a very phallic capstan-like thing around which the rope on the balcony is secured.
A bearded male arrives (some sort of salesman?) and the girlfriend seduces him. Olinka, Laura and Gabriel walk off and Olinka explains why she has run off to Gabriel. In a flashback she is seen opening the door to the female dressing room to find an orgy in full swing involving the three female models, her boyfriend (Antony Ray), Andr' Kay, Dominique Aveline and a young dark haired male.
Then, back in the present, they hear of Olinka's boyfriend being dragged out of the harbour. They rush down, but there is time only for a few last words to Olinka.
Mysteriously we then see Olinka doing her Marlene Dietrich act (top hat, tails and fishnet stockings) in a cafe and then having sex with Eric Dray after the customers have left.
2. La Maison des 1001 Plaisirs : This is Olinka's best film, and among the best of all French adult movies. Some misfortune results in Olinka working in a fancy French brothel. When she falls in love with a customer, she plans her escape. That's the plot, what there is of it, but what make this a great hardcore film are the little touches. The tone is fun, but when the denizens of the brothel throw an all-out orgy it is perversion central. Most effective sequence is the daily exercise run. The entire staff of girls go jogging, with the incentive that last girl back gets b*****ed on the massage table (while all the other girls gather around to watch and jungle music plays on the soundtrack). The gorgeous blonde who always comes in last straggles on purpose. Olinka turns to the Madame and says "That's not a very good punishment -- I think she likes it." The Madame responds "I know, but most of the girls don't." We would cite this silly sequence as quintessential light French adult film-making -- a narrative set-up that provides some emotional setting for the sex, effective use of music, a theme of domination with real emotional/sexual impact, but without any sense of abuse or meanness (presented as play-acting that serves the desires of both participants), well-photographed attractive close-ups mixed with acting and dialogue that is about the sex. It's not the Odessa Steps sequence, but it's worth thinking about what elements make a certain scene memorable.
3. Le Retour de Marilyn: Louis and Parfait are travelling on a coach. Parfait (a cross country biker) is stuck on his idea of saving himself for the perfect woman he feels bound to meet whereas Louis, his manager, is much more into sieze-the-day philosophy and proves it by having sex with a blonde passenger (Rosy Stuart) at the back of the coach.
At night at the hotel, Louis notices two blondes having a ball with Jean-Pierre Armand. In fact Amour is teaching her lover Estelle how to behave with customers but once this one has come, paid and left, Estelle expresses her frustration and Amour promises her a nicer evening together.
Later in a discotheque, Parfait proves a killjoy but when Amour appears onstage (for the usual Olinka show) he immediately falls in love with her. We are then treated to a lesbian scene involving the two blondes. When Parfait expresses his wish to see Amour whom he calls his fianc'e, Louis can't help being sarcastic at his being so naive.
Parfait is a biker and we are then given a few minutes of bikes rock-climbing (but where is he?) and are eventually told that Parfait has won the contest. Amour and a friend of hers, who have been invited to the contest by Parfait, are there too and they watch Jean-Pierre Armand having it off with a beautiful brunette.
When Parfait tells Amour he's in love with her she tells him she's on her way to Paris to become a famous singer and doesn't want to marry him. So when she's about to get on the train Parfait kidnaps her and they join the coach party to carry on the trip (around the Loire Valley and its castles as it seems).
On board the bus G'rard Gr'gory is busy with Isa Dery, while JPA is with Mina Houghe. As Louis and Parfait are sleeping, Amour goes to Gilbert and tells him she's being kidnapped. He promises he'll help her when they stop off at the home of a widow friend of his.
So when the bus stops for 'repairs', the whole party is welcomed by Charlotte who soon satisfies her passion for Gilbert in the kitchen while JPA does the same with Mina Houghe outside the house. Louis turns up and the whole party is in for a good time: Isa Dery with G'rard Gr'gory and another male, Louis with a brunette, Parfait(?) with Rosy Stuart.
After coffee the whole party is back on the road. Time again for Amour to tell Parfait that they should be going different ways. Gilbert joins in to knock Parfait down. But Amour is Parfait's first love and that goes straight to her heart... And the new couple is left in Charlotte's hands and the coach departs (was that film officially sponsored by Les Cars Dunois?).
Charlotte takes the young couple to the room where she has spent her honeymoon and Parfait and Amour (and for those unfamiliar with French: parfait amour = perfect love) get to know one another in a deeper way after some more of Olinka's dancing. BEAUTIFUL Olinka (yes those capital letters do mean shouting out loud!) Her body of milk and honey. That perfect sweet face. Every part of her like a jewel.
The end shot shows them walking off to their new life.
