How to maximize the benefit of RS premium account

Now with new download quota rs account holders can download approximately 2.66GB of data per 24h.
Was 5GB then 10GB, now is so little.


Well, don't cry. There are ways of increasing the download quota.



1. Some sites offer free downloads from rapidshare (google them, I don't want to post here links). I used a few ones and managed to download from rs through these sites. But often all limits they offer are used up.


2. The other method is flexible proxy - if you reconnect with Internet you get a new IP and you can download from rs without the need to wait 15 or so minutes


3. If you have fixed IP address then you can boost your downloads ammount by downloading as a premium user and as a free user. It takes time but you can get as much as 3-4GBs per 24h thanks to free user downloads.
How to do it? Just pick one file at a time to be downloaded as a free user. When it;s done, wait 15 minutes and download another file and so on so forth.

What exactly this soft can do? Anybody knows?

I was like you for years, then I finally forked over the $$$ and got the premium account. RS used to have periods where you could download in 'free' mode for about an hour "Happy hour" they called it. I'm not sure if they still do it.

The funny thing about having an RS account is that I bust my bandwidth all the time now:)

I use jdownloader. I copy and paste the links into the container and jdownloader handles the wait times between dls and everything else. I usually let it run all night and wake up to a finished dl.

just about any file sharing host, it will take care of, but some sites' captcha's it doesn't get right, so you have to enter it. (in a little pop up window that the programme creates)

But, you can have it watch your clipboard, and all you need to do is "copy link location" or highlight and copy each link you want, and the programme just starts to download.

after the 15 min wait, it'll download the next, etc.

I do wish it would look at the queue, and realize it was waiting for 15 minutes so grab the first megaupload link on the list or something like that.

But.. you just make sure that the sites it can't read the capchka on are downloade while you're at the computer, and have all the RS stuff work while at work...
Better yet, alternate your RS files with ones from other sites that it can get the code without your help.
