forum speed

Is it just me, or is the forum in the last days slower than usual? Is this forum getting so good that the traffic is too high? I'm just wondering, as lately it takes quite some time to browse through the posts.

I wouldn't worry too much for the speed here on
forumophilia because I would consider this issue
as kinda normal.

I think we all gotta deal with the same problem
which you have.

Maybe it's because of the DNS-server can't
handle the huge amount of traffic anymore
because sometimes I get a "gateway error".
This happens especially if many people try
to access one and the same topic at the
same time.

It's normal that the bandwidth suffers on a forum
like forumophilia which got thousands of visitors
daily and they will seem to more and more the
older the board gets because more and more
people will get aware that they can find "free"
porn here. Currently the board got about
200.000 members but you have to add the
people to that which do not have an account
but do visit the forum as well. That's alot of
traffic, you know.

I've found out that the speed is sometimes
slow and sometimes acceptable and I think
that it got much to do with the timezones.
So you'll have a good speed at times when
the most people either work or sleep.
I have no clue in which timezone you live
but as far for mine I've found the perfect
time to visit the forum to browse it in an
acceptable speed.
