Hi guys

Hopefully you can help with a recent problem I've had.

A couple of weeks ago I started getting alerts on my pc that "Vidxcore.dll cannot be found" when I looked into folders with videos. I guess it's related to a particular type of video (wmv, avi or whatever) as the number of times this alert come up doesn't relate to the number of vidoes in the folder.

Can anyone suggest a way to prevent these messages from coming up? I'm getting fed up with having to close them.

when you enter "vidxcore.dll" on google you will find out that this is related to spyware.
you should update your antivirus and spyware software and do a full system scan to get rid of that. your private data is at high risk!
in times when i used windows (which i believe you do) i had good success rates with "spybot s&d". it's free and works great.
