Why are we here?

Elf Punk said something in a different post about the appeal of CENSORED (I'll do it myself), about how they remind us of ourselves at a younger age and a more innocent time. After thinking about it for a little while and having thought about it before, I have to disagree--likely because I'm pretty cynical about human nature. Our track record ain't so good.

Personally, I believe that the appeal of youth comes from a more sinister side of your psyche, hence the guilt associated with it as Lazuro has pointed out. The guilt is also due to social conventions, but the two are probably interrelated. As a bit of a Freudian, here's my interpretation:

Freud believed that the psyche was divided into three parts: the Id (instinctual drives), the Ego (the conscious awareness of the self), and the Superego (the conscience, more or less). The Id is made up of two drives: the libido (lust) and the death drive (aggression). Freud basically believed that we have two instincts: to fuck and to kill. In his later writings, he suggested that--rather than two separate drives--these are actually the same drive. Thus, our desire to fuck is related to our desire to kill. The reason why we aren't fucking and killing each other all the time (at least some of us) is because society is set up to sublimate these drives into other activities (work, marriage, family). The way society sublimates these drives is by creating laws and religions and mores that go against our desire to fuck and kill. These laws/religions/mores form the Superego. The Superego counters our drives by creating guilt.

Okay, if you're still reading, then thank you. On to my interpretation of said matter. The reason CENSORED are appealing is because they combine our desire to fuck with our desire to dominate. The physical appeal is the displaced psychological appeal: innocence, naivete, inexperience. CENSORED are subconsciously attractive because they are more easily controlled/dominated than non-CENSORED. This is not to say that--if we ever came into phsyical contact with them--we would be violent, as our Superego prevents that. However, it may be a subconscious motivation behind it.

Of course, there may also be a masochistic desire along with the sadistic one mentioned above. Perhaps the intense guilt (theoretically, of course) gives us pleasure. The enjoyment of self-loathing, perhaps.

Those who attack/prosecute people who admit to the appeal of CENSORED, receive the pleasure of a sort of clear conscience, the alleviation of guilt, and the self-righteousness created by following the rules of the Superego. On this board I have been both an attacker and a defender, so I don't want to say who's right because I'd be a hypocrite and there really is no right.

All right. That's my diatribe. Recent exchanges on this board have given me a great respect for the intelligence and thoughts of those here. Thus, I'm interested in hearing what all of you think.

I have my own theory why “I’m” here.

I’ve been working as a rave dj for almost 12 years and have not really had much time to venture outside ‘youth culture’. Now at the age of 32, I have only ever dated 17-20yo because that’s the only age group of girls I ever get a chance to meet. Hence my interest is teen girl pictures.

At the age of 15->20, human beauty tends to peak. That is to say, their
bodies become mature, but not over ripe (which happens after 20 ).
IMO, It is at this time, humans are the most beautiful.

I had to move away when my guardian died and leave her behind, since I was not of age and had no say about staying in that town alone without a guardian (even tho my new guardian felt it would be all right if I did.) Freud indeed anyone who links all of us together by some poncy theory. There used to be a theory that only 2 things bonded us all....self preservation (see suicides) and the defence of our offspring (see Sickos and pedos) there is NOTHING that bonds us all together. we each view different TF models and get a different kick. Its true when some say they view for artistic reasons others for lust etc etc..lets just enjoy their gorgeous bodies no matter what you think...

I think we all have an instinct of reproduce each other and we are more
attracted by youn_ger woman because chances are much better that they
can give life to healthier babys than older woman.

Another reason could be, what we think is beautiful and what not.
As Josiah mentioned, at the age of 15->20, human beauty tends to peak.
And we all like beauty. If we can afford, we (would) buy/drive a beautiful
car, buy/build a beautiful house. Many want to wear beautiful clothes...
We love the beauty in all things... see beauty in nature too...

WEll me personally, I am attracted to beauty. I joined TF in order to draw and study the fantastic bodys that these models posses! I cannot afford to pay a model to come in and allow me to practive life drawing. I have to settle for nude-porn.

I am trying to hone the skill that Frank Frazetta, Micheal Angelo, Leonardo DAa Vinci, et all, had. That is the ability to draw the human form in any and all shapes, sizes, and forms, without reference.

I have no doubt that this is a life-time pursuit.

Anyway...that's my story, excuse, whevetever you wanna call it

i am the same as you snigom, i study the bodies of the girls at teenfuns and many other sites in order to draw them. But agree that is not the only reason.
You should keep striving to achieve your goal of drawing the human body, after two years of studying girls from such sites (although i had always been drawing from a young age), i was able to draw the human body from my imagination in several poses.
If your drawings are stylised and free rather than exactly accurate in terms of proportion, you can take some artistic liscence in the way you portray women.
for example some fashion illustrators draw women with elongated necks or long flowing limbs, and their work is easily recognisable from these trademark, signature features. SO (BY THE WAY THE CAPS LOCK BUTTON HAS JUST JAMMED ON MY KEYBOARD) I THINK IT HELPS IF YOU LEARN TO DRAW THE HUMAN BODY IN YOUR OWN WAY, RATHER THAN AN EXACT REPLICA. WITH CONSTANT SKETCHING OVER A PERIOD OF TIME, THESE PERSONALISED FEATURES SHOULD COME OUT AND DEVELOP ON THEIR OWN SO YOU SHOULD NOT FORCE THEM OR CONSCIOUSLY DECIDE ''MY TRADEMARK WILL BE ALL MY WOMEN HAVE MASSIVE HANDS'', IF YOU SEE WHAT I MEAN.
anyway i am just offering advice, which you are probly already aware of, but it may help so i will write it . my capslock has unjammed, i must say thankyou to the god of computers

That's top-drawer advice, Lazuro. I've been doing my own x-rated comics for about 4 years (strictly amateurish, mind you) and although I never stop studying how to draw, etc., I also am a proponent of letting your own propensities come out in your drawings, the exaggerations of the female form to suit your own fantasies and desires, trying to make your women as HOT as you can. Chances are the reader/viewer will respond as well. There are many, many examples of this, many artists and cartoonists who do it. Even Frazetta's anatomy is exaggerated to some degree. He just loves voluptuous legs and tummies!

Anyway, keep drawing guys. It's very fulfilling.

And, Snigom, I have been a Frazetta fanatic since I saw my first Conan paperback cover way, back in the day! Powerful stuff.
