I want to know how to make a screenshot like the one Boldpussy:-) did in this thread: https://www.forumophilia.com/topic25901.html

How do you get it to look like this? Do you need a program?

I really want to know because I want to start posting videos!

The answer is media player classic, an open source application.

Licensed under the terms of the GNU General Public License, Media Player Classic is a free piece of software, and is hosted under the guliverkli project at SourceForge.net.

There are numerous other programs freeware/shareware that will also produce the desired result.

Thanks guy! I checked out the other ones. I didn't like Imagegrabber 2 and I couldn't figure out how the hell to work with ScreenHunter 5.

Media Player Classic is great. Although I don't like how you can't pick and choose which video frames are the thumbnails.

R/\YDEN said with Imagegrab and ACDsee you can do that, but it's not that important to me to have specific pictures.

Thanks again guys. Wink

Actually, I was using Windows Media Classic and I was having problems with a couple of the videos of which I was trying to make screenshots.

I decided to try Image Grabber II again and wow, you can pick your own screenshots!

It's so easy!

1. Open file (select your video)

2. Press the olive drab screen button to have it auto save x amount of frames, OR, click the icon next to it and the program will save whatever video frame you happen to be at. I usually just pause at a frame I like so that the screen capture comes out clean.

3. Once you have all the frames you like, save the file.

I love how you can tinker with the options too, like changing the font, where on the screen it's located. What a wonderful little program! So much better than Windows Media Classic.
