I just realized that 'closing the site" might simply mean 'stop updating it'. But the actual thing is probably staying online until the domain/hosting runs out... :/

If I was Christina and about to open a new site, I'd push out teasers every two days to keep my old members and fans interested... At least a preview of her website as a whole!

Looks like it went down silently at some point these last few hours.
Funny thing, the adress for her site was registered on august 22 2001.. It went offline 13 years later, almost to the day.

Wild speculation on my part here, but it could actually be part of why it was supposed to go down these days: the hosting contract should probably have been renewed this week.
At any rate, it's a sad ending.
