Hi! I'm new here, need some help!

Can someone tell me how to add a pic on the left of my post, and how to edit my signature.

Go to your Profile (button is at the top of the page) and you should be able to add a signature as well as an avatar (the pic under your nick).
You can also edit a couple of other items to ensure more pleasant surfing here at the forumophilia

Lastly, if you ever have questions, there's a place for that - the general discussion section.
As a last resort, you can always PM a Moderator; they're great and here to help.

to edit your signature, click on the top of the screen on Profile button and then edit "signature" form.
