Errr...possibly answered already:
Can i use a resuming program such as GetRight to download RapidShare files? If so...how!!??

And if GetRight can't do it, any other software that can? It's annoying when
after 99Mb my PC crashes and i have to start all over again.

Thanks in advance!!

I'm using FDM ( Arrow http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/ ), which works fine with rapidshare. Keep in mind that you need a premium account at rapidshare, since free users do not enjoy the luxury of resumable downloads.

I use Flashget myself, but I would add that it has occasional problems resuming RAR files (files won't extract correctly and the interrupted part needs to be re-DL-ed).

I used Flashget in the past until i upgraded to a newer version and found out that this version established a connection to some weird servers in China. Of course this does not necessarily mean that this is bad. I guess its because of these fancy features like finding mirrors and so on.
But still - paranoid as i am - i don't like the idea of my computer being connected to another without me knowing it. Thats why i am using FDM.

If you want to know what connections your computer has established open a command window by Start>Run, type cmd and hit Enter. Then type netstat and you will get a list of connections for the TCP protocol. For more info type netstat -?
