These folks are trying to archive the entire web starting in the '90's.
Which means you can look for defunct sites and view their pages.
Unfortunately they don't have a general topic search engine so you have to know the url of what you are looking for. (But sometimes a guess proves correct.) And if it's a paysite then you still can't access the members areas.
But if you're looking for an old favorite site that's no longer around it can be fun. (They appear to be censorship free, for all you European members.)
