It seems my Rapidshare Premium Account has been hacked.

When I try to download something, I am informed:

Der Premium Account -------- wird mit einer anderen IP gerade genutzt. Es sieht so aus, als wird dieser Account von verschiedenen Computer gleichzeitig genutzt.

Bitte versuchen Sie es später nochmal.

I have informed Rapidshare about the problem.

Do I have to be worried as far as Rapidshare is concerned.

I am told that some members here have had their accounts cancelled.

Definitely. Will do so - if RS doesn´t intend to cancel my Premium Account for whatever reasons (downloading porn for one;-))

Can I do anything about reopening my account?

if someone has hacked your account they may have already changed the password Crying or Very sad

have you tried the 'Password reminder' option on the RapidShare site?
(that should send 'You' the current password to the email address you registered with RapidShare - unless they (the hacker) can also change that?)

Only other thing I can suggest is to keep contacting RapidShare and plead your innocents (this must happen quite a lot - it doesn't take much to guess someones username & password)

A whole bunch of other people are also having the same problem. Seems that RS has had some issues with their servers the past few days.
