It is not clear to me what you are asking.

Are you trying to play a DIVX movie on the computer?

If you DL a DIVX movie (AVI) will it play on your computer?

If no, you need to install a decode "codec".

If you are trying to play a DIVX CD on a DVD player that's another story.

DivX and AVI files will not play on your run of the mill DVD player.

Cucusoft mpeg/avi to dvd converter.

Just do a internet search

Still working great. But it does take about 2 to 3 hours to
convert a 2 hour movie.

DVD Flick will convert most popular formats (including FLV) to DVD. Best of all, it's free Exclamation

For most visual files to play on a DVD player, it must first be converted to a VIDEO TS and AUDIO TS file. Most converters will do so, VISUALHUB was one of the best around - google it. Nero will also convert to an ISO, then when mounted, it will convert to a TS file.

I did. And it seems Visual Hub is for Macs only. Anyone know of a comparable app for PC?
