Very good, you learned the Basel Fawlety leasson!
And most of us germans learned, too:
The absolute majority is very strong anti-nazi and it hurts us to still be called Nazis.
To make this statement a bit more objective:
I had a french girlfriend who lived here with me in germany. As I told her about a recent discussion where some german philosopher said, that the germans should care more about their nazi-history, she started to laugh very loud and said, she never met someone who cares and worrys more about the dark aspects of their history than the germans.
[I don't know whether that's true, but at least tht's what she said....]

I really don't care what nations or races the victims belonged to (there were simply too many victims [60 million]), all that was the biggest possible shit what could happen. But if there is a
personal reason (in addition to the obvious general reasons...) why I hate hitler, it's the consequence the whole shit has for the architecture:
Most german inner cities suck, because they were build in the dark ages of architecture, in the 1960's to now. The few older parts of german cities are much more beatifull than the modern ones.
But this is relly not important compared to the general reasons....
