Splitting

Hi guys I am a bit lost and need your expertise. I wanted to upload a file today and realized that it is too big. Tried using easy video splitter but something is wrong with whereby there is a picture attached to all the clips.
Any other splitters that I can use.

sorry to be a bother. How do I make the file into RAR?

Before uploading to rapidshare and how am I to insert the password?

If you don't have the necessary software to make a RAR file you can download it from here:

To password protect the file (once you have the correct software) right click on it and select "Add to archive" then the "Advanced" tab and finally the "set password" tab. You will have to type a password twice, click "OK" and it will then password protect your file.

If you are uploading vids to Rapidshare you might want to download the "RapidUploader" tool from the Rapidshare site. It means you will be able to upload several vids at the same time.

have tried your recommended software many times but something is wrong.

I am trying to split 233 Mb of film, I opt for size equal parts and when I press split it creates one file only. The value of the split file is 0 bytes.

Have you any idea why this happens.

after splitting how do I review the result?

I tried opening back the split file with my media player classic and I only managed to open the first file the other two could not be opened I am not sure why.

Is it that after splitting we are not suppose to review the contents?

ended up using Winrar to make the files smaller after checking the forum.

While I write this I am uploading my first file onto RapidShare by using Rapid Uploader. Unfortunately my ETA to upload the three files is about 7 hours and speed is about 2-6 Kb.

Let's see how it goes. Will keep you posted of the outcome.

one more question when I try to upload direct on the rapid share page it uploads very fast and then the page goes blank.

I am using multi upload.

Why does this happen?
