Shocked

For Mac users, I'll post feed back on how I fail!!!!!

OR Very Happy

Here's what I did and it worked fine, If there's a easier way let me know!

After opening Quicktime, I needed to open each file as a url. a total of 16 segments for this movie.

opened file 16 (always the last one!) and droped in reverse sequence 15,14, and so on, all the segments down to the last one!

Note:
before I droped. I always hit the back reset to start button. then droped.

Note, make sure your working with two sets, just in case! delete after verifications!

save file as. works fine!

Edit:

I'm not getting sound, even with the members area avi's

If the mpg come from the same movie , it is same codec wxh and bitrate, you can simply cat all peaces together.
If in windows , open a comand prompt and :
copy a.mpg b.mpg c.mpg total.mpg

I don't remember if copy needs some switch like /b o -b to make a binary copy.

check copy /?

I've found a simple program to join mpegs and it's free. Go to www.zdnet.com, search for 'combimove' in 'All ZDnet' and then follow the obvious links and download the program.

There are other programs available, most are free to try (usually limited time or function) but then you have to pay.

ZDnet is a major IT publications company and a source of many downloadable programs for many areas. Worth checking if you need a program such as the one above.
