Click on "profile" at the top of the page. This will take you to your personal profile page.

Scroll to the bottom and you will see; "Upload Avatar from your machine:". Here you can browse your computer for a small 100x100 image to be used in your posts under your name. There are places on the web you can get free avitar pix, but most make their own.

Attachment of pictures within your posts is broken right now, but GS is working on restoring the feature!

Hope that helps!

There are many programs which can resize pictures.
A freeware program for personal use is "Irfanview"
See link: http://www.irfanview.com/

If you need further help feel free to ask Smile

You're welcome!

It's fun helping people you don't know.
And it's much more fun if they appreciate it Smile

You know, I agree. I love helping people, and the pay-off is if they appreciate it.

Now, that is why I got into tech support. I figured there are alot of people that do not know about computers. I could help them and get paid for it at the same time. Sadly....you don;t get the appreciatation part. It's alot of yelling, screaming, complaining, whining, bitching, moaning, until you fix thier problem. Then after you fix thier problem its alot of yelling, screaming, complaining, whining, bitching, moaning until you find a nice way to get off the phone. Now...repeat for the next 8 HOURS!!!! Mad

But the one time you get the customer who enjoys the fact that he's all fixed up and educated, it can re-infuse your energy levels and you can go on for the rest of the week. Wink

Snigom, I feel for ya, man. I'm in a helping-the-public line of work myself (via phone also, though I am not in computers). Maybe that's why I'm almost shocked and so grateful when I encounter decency in others...

Thanks Mummy.

There is another draw back I just thought of. Because 98% of all my stress is caused by talking to customers on the phone, I associate "pain," "anger," and "frustration" with the phone. As a result, I HATE talking on the phone when I get home Evil or Very Mad

Same here! I have a private voicemail number I only give to real friends and family that I check, but I NEVER answer my land phone. I get a perverse pleasure in not stopping what I'm doing and listening to it ring and ring ...

YES!!! I am the same way! Even when it's my girlfriend who calls; if I am in the middle of something that has my strict attention....I will call her back. I tell her I was in the bathroom, or taking out the trash. Twisted Evil

You're ignoring your girlfriends calls?
Are you sure she will be your girlfriend much longer? Wink

I'm a systems administrator at the moment and what I have learned so
far is, if anything on a Windows PC is not working correct and I will be
asked for help, I have to answer: "Please reboot" Very Happy

That eleminates at least about 80% of all problems... Really
