I have a few sites I've subscribed to but the sheer time it would take to download all the photosets is crazy. I have to click each thumbnail image which opens up a new window with the full size image. I'm trying to find a program that will do that for me automatically and download them all. Some of these sites I'd like to collect have 100+ sets and each set has like 60+ photos. I'd be at that crap for a month doing it manually.. Crying or Very sad

I've tried quite a few image spidering programs but none of them were able to download the images. Only the images any of them were able to get were the thumbnails, but not the actual full photo you would get if you clicked the thumbnail that opened the new window. Any help would be much appreciated.

I know this has been ventilated here in the General chat before.
Do a search and I'm sure you will find something.
If it is of any actual help what you find, I don't know.

If you use Firefox as your browser you can use Batchdownload. It's one of their add-ons. It's fairly easy to use (I can use it so it must be). It's not instantaneous when downloading but a lot quicker than you could download the images one at a time manually. You can get it here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3104

To operate it you click on the first picture in the set and right click on your mouse and select Batchdownload. Then it's simply a question of entering a few parameters, select a file you want to save the pics to and click "OK". It will then save the pics to your hard drive one by one.

my favorite Image grabber is ' Interactive Downloader'

Code:
dead link

'Drag & Drop' the thumbnails you want to download to the top box in Interactive Downloader', the rest should be obvious Smile

I just tried both of those programs and they don't work either.

Each thumbnail when moused over shows the same link. But when looking at the page source code, they all have a (href="" onclick="window.open) which when clicked opens a new window with the actual full sized image.

The site I'm trying to rip is http://www.milena-velba.com. The way the images show up you have to click each thumbnail to open the new window with the actual image in it. None of these automated image grabbers seem to know how to do that. Now I know the exact address of each picture. If I could find a program that did some kind of wildcard download it would work.

Example: (www.pictureplace.org/members/set1/image_4.jpg)

Now say the set had 25 pictures. I'd enter:
First: 1
Last: 25

Something to that extent.

The program would download each link in succession image_1.jpg,image_2.jpg etc etc all the way up to image_25.jpg

Alas I can't find any program like that. I dunno.. This is just driving me freaking nuts. I don't have unlimited time to manually download every single image. it's a very daunting task..

One of the other problems I've encountered is quite a few of these automated site downloaders don't support a username/password ability so the program would not be able to log into a members section to even begin downloading the images if it was able to.

I hope some of this made sense..

a program called NeoDownloader has worked for me for a long time. it is able to differeniate between single galleries, multiple galleries, TGP, or the entire site with pics and videos.

I use Aaron's WebVacuum 2.72 for all my site ripping, it works great on pictures. For forums without RS links, I use QuadSucker-Web.

I use Firefox and the Flashgot Add-on for your problem.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/220

You can build a gallery, which can easily downloaded with any download manager.

For other purposes GrapJPG:

I hate sites that don't give you the option of downloading the set as a zip. One of my deciding factors when joining a site.

Thanks for the info on this.
