Here is an easier solution to skipping Rapidshare wait times. The usual proxy trick is tedious and not usually very successful.

This is for those running on a network with router and a cable or DSL connection, although it might work for other setups.

I noticed this works when my power went off for a few minutes. When it came back on my wait time disappeared.

All you have to do is:

1. Unplug/turn off your router
2. Unplug/turn off your cable/DSL modem
3. Count to 20
4. Plug in/turn on your router
5. Plug in/turn on your cable/DSL modem
6. Wait a minute for the modem to reset your Internet connection.
7. Download!

Hope this helps.

Hi.
Yeah this happens every time, you get a new ip from your provider.
RS only checks the ip, so fast proxys won't work very often cause they were used by others.
Most users have a dynamic ip from their provider that change every time when the router reconnects.

For users with a fritz!box (avm product) and firefox there's a useful addon called foxbox to reconnect much faster.

You can find it here:

english:
http://foxbox.mozdev.org/

german:
http://www.erweiterungen.de/detail/FoxBox/

So you can reconnect much easier Smile
