My Gripe, but what do you guys really think?

It would seem, that the majority of uploaded videoware is on RS, its a good system pros and cons like any. My question is, which do you really prefer? I have had enough of RS personally, and wouldn't mind if they were closed down, because although Mega-franchise (erotic or upload or video) does have popups, i'm not expected to wait 67 minutes between downloads!

I wouldn't be too fussed if everything was on Megaupload because I like them, they're easy and i can download straight after my current is finished!

Megaupload also has download limits. They're just set slightly higher.

For the $10.00 a month a Rapidshare account costs, it will pay for itself 100 times over in the content you can download.

I went with Megaupload/Megarotic...why?

1. MU/ME has a minimum of 200 mb downloads for non-members. So you could easily get away with one whole clip in one dl. RS has a measly 100mb which makes you have to split your files into more pieces making longer waits for non-members of RS. You can get away with a full length movie with MU/ME with about 3 - 4 downloads with waiting in between. Full length movies on RS end up being 12 - 16 segment making the non-member either move on or force them in signing up.

2.MU/ME does not seem to pressure you into signing up the way RS does. RS was one of the first file hosters out there with a loyal following despite what RS has done to them in recent years. (mass deletions) It is this loyal following that really make them money because they insist that you use RS only and many people give in and join and continue the vicious circle.

Why can't we use what ever file host we want providing that the host isn't a pain like depositfiles? Of course you can't please everyone all the time.

you will find that the MODs are fine with most filehosters as long as they dont have the megapop-ups like some and a pay per download like deposit.

I know deity uses media something sometimes and a few people use others.

Its not a question of tieing the good posters hands, just handicapping the idiots who are out to ruin it for everyone.

Did anyone notice that rapidshare.DE has a 3oo MB Limit now?
I found a good compromise(at least it works for me )for smaller things like Picsets I use rs.com,for clips or bigger picsets I use rs.de and for full movies I use MU or ME.I had a Megaupload Premium Account a while ago and it was very good,I'm still suprised.

For me Rapidshare works fine, i have uploaded to some different hosts as a free user and always something goes wrong, some cant handle the traffic, sometimes the link they give me to share is a different movie as i uploaded (makes u think when they give me a link to a movie tweenies, what link may the one get uploading the tweenies???) i have not used ME or MU but i always get back to RS.

Rapidshare works fine for me. For the low price, Ive downloaded gigs of stuff. Mega.... is filled with pop-ups. As long as you can keep someone from complaining to RS about certain files, it works great. DL times are quick too.

I have premium accounts with both. Small price to pay for all that is available.
