Sir Darkstar Retires

Well guys its been fun but sometimes the old bones just dont want to work so I have officially hung up my hat and gavel and will no longer be a hated MOD on this wonderful forum.

I have to admit its been a lot of fun and I have enjoyed almost every bit of it along the way. So many friends have come and gone, Terry, Prox, Cos, MM, Dondi, Elmo, Teeno, ConTractor, Calahan, Alp-boy, and who could forget the great Angelus, and Oobooloo you bloody legend and some new friends I dont see to much anymore, Lephex, Raven, Ramblin Man. I could go on for hours.

Well thank you to all who have been so supportive and assisted me with the job, to the not so new MODs, keep up the good work. To the people who whinged and complained and called me names, thanks for making life interesting.

I'll still be around posting, now that I have more time.

I'm extremely honored to be in that list SD and hopefully this will become fun for you again. I speak from expierance when I say that modding can become very time consuming so I know how much of that time you put into this board with, at times at least, very little appreciation.

Nows the time to sit back and coast man. Get some music going in the background, turn off the lights and just chill.

Hey SD, I've lost track ... is this the 2nd or 3rd time you've tried to retire as a mod?

Yeah all these young whippersnappers around here have no idea that you frigging CARRIED this place for a long time, as other mods seemed to be nonexistent a while ago (much of 2006 and early 2007, yes?). If not for you, we would have been up shits creek without a pope to piss in and paddle us out of the woods.

Not that my opinion matters much, but IMRO you've done a really awesome job here. While continuing to post gobs and globs of great pRon too. Good on ya, mate. And thanks for listing me above. Right back at ya. Garsh. Okay. I promise not to ever make fun of Stevie Nicks again.

But seriously, thanks mi amigo. As Yoda says, "Much Respect, you have earned". As RM says, SD is a big reason why Forumophila is so amazing. And I'm damn glad to know ya.

Certainly, Svinto & Esty & Deity & the other great members of The Mod Squad are very worthy as successors to your throne, but I ain't havin' it, my good Aussie. Now getcho ass back in the video section, and bash around a few noobies for awhile, and you'll feel much better!

Didn't know you liked the Welsh Witch - one of my all-time favorite singer songwriters. I have a great outtakes cd of part of the Belladonna sessions - the takes on Leather and Lace will make you weep! I'll stop in in your music forum and see if I can get it to you.

Sunrise and T-Bone, how could I have not mentioned you, my deepest appologise to you both, and thank you.

I would say that I will see you in the VIP but I guess Svinto and the others didnt like my decission to retire and have black listed me from several threads.
