sharing media from pc to xbox360-can anyone pls help??

Hi,
I have been trying to share media from my pc to my xbox 360. I have Windows XP "home installed on the pc.

The computer is connected to the router via usb. The xbox 360 is connected to the router. From the Ethernet port on the back of your Xbox 360™ console to the back off the router.

All firewalls are switched off.

I have tried this guide,but still can't for the life of me get the 360 and the pc talking to eadh other. Can anyone pls help?

well, i'm not sure whether or not you are making use of windows media center but the attached website is very informative in regards to all things windows media center and xbox360 as an extender. hope it helps some or at least points you to somewhere that might.
