does rapid share .com and rapid share .de are the same?

been trying to get n there to no good.

Both are the same hoster but they may be using
different servers for the up- and download.

I only use rapidshare.com
It works better for me but I can´t tell you
the reason why.

Rapidshare.de is the german site of rapidshare.

RS.de effectively closed down about a year ago. At that time they stopped taking on new subscribers and existing account holders were unable to upload new files. You'll still find a few links to RS.de here which are still active but they are becoming fewer as subscribers allow their accounts to expire.

Are you sure that they stopped taking on new subscribers? Shocked


Look at http://rapidshare.de/en/premium.html



... and by the way, existing account holders compelled them to disable the uploading of new files feature, because none wanted to spend time if the point allowance per file downloaded dissapeared ...
