Embarrassed...

I hafta say that I get a bit embarrassed of the lack of response to people's 300/500 post tributes. I can remember when I was trying for 300 posts, and when my friends made tributes for me I felt really good about it. Nowadays, I see more then a few such tributes with barely a response...even with a bunch of views. What does it take to say congratulations?

All in all, I say that most of you people suck, and if I get a warning for saying it, so be it. Better yet - ban me, and then I won't have to feel bad when I come here, and see no one giving the much deserved props for their fellow members efforts.

Hey Gnome I've got to say that I understand exactly what your talking about. Unfortunately I don't come over here enough and when I do I don't really look around to much.

I was posting stuff and I remember when I reached those marks and it seems like there were a few people that responded (but its been a long time ago so I could be wrong).

Listen to the Gnome, this little guy has been a champion of this forum even when other people (including myself) were willing to give up on it. I can't say I'm the most active member here but its the people that I've met on here that will make me come back on the rare occasion. If you don't have interaction and appreciation then you might as well get your porn from a torrent service, that way you won't be bothered with interaction.

In conclusion, there will always in a huge forum like this be a few that are very active.
Making replyes that is just a bit more than "Thanks" giving some of themselfes.
If there is 1 out of 1 000 then I would say it's a good outcome.
Hell for the moment I think we have 1 out of 10 000.
(My greatest fear, 1 in 50 000 judging from this thread.)

fwiw I did not even realise that section was even there until by a complete fluke!

I had achieved my 300 posts and coincidentally googled my own identity (do this every now and again to see what comes up - think there is a name for it) and lo and behold here was a new section to me in Forumophilia. Thanks to Deity who had congratulated me first. I had always visited the same sections on the site and had not noticed the congrats section - thought it was a sticky for the rules or something.

I wonder how many others just never go there and just stick to the few tried and tested sections.

Do the big man even hand out the 300 / 500 rewards any more?

They've lost there purpose. Originally they were designed to reward poster who excessively pimped teenfuns /angelfuns / fallenangelfun. This was in the days when these forums were about those sites only.

People who contibuted to this site were in effect promoting the angelfuns brand and drawing membership to the site. This would give GS money - Thus the rewards.


Now - are the people who get to 300 / 500 really doing anything to promote angelfuns? Do these people even know any of the angelfuns models? Are they doing anything to give GS money?

Answer is no to all to the above. So why should GS reward them?

99% of these boards have nothing to do with the angelfuns brand any more. It's just random porn. Yay if you like random porn. I came here because i liked the teenfuns models.

I don't know any of random people who get to 300 these days. They are simply anonymous people who mainly just post in one thread only with content that is probably only interesting to a particular group of leechers.

The site is too random now. There's too many threads. Too many random users. Yes you can find lots and lots of porn. Do any of you really download all of it? Of course you don't - you'd go blind.
