rapidshare: getting points as a free user?

my idea is to upload some files as a free user and get enough bonus-points from other ppl's downloads to "buy" a premium-acc.
anyone has done that? reading their faq, i understand that you will only get points as a premium-user. is that right? or is my idea a good idea?

I am always thinkin about that when I uploaded another file and it's askin me again to collect these points.

So far I diddn't, cause as a free user it works fine, only thing I always have to do is reconnecting the router.

But if you really can get a premium account for free this way I might start doin this, too.
