I'm trying to figure out how to get a screen shot from Windows Media Player... so that when I post some of my videos I can give a little preview.

However, I can't figure out how to get a captured picture from Media Player...

Can anyone help?

You need to go to the Settings menu, select Preferences, go to the Performance tab, click Advanced, and under Video Acceleration, make sure "Use Overlays" is *NOT* checked.

Then go get a copy of MWSnap, and use the snap window command.

... and if your 'film' is coded in MPG format, you don't even need to modify any settings concerning overlays ...

Just open your film into WMP, and whenever you want to capture a specific frame, just do Control-India ... and that's all ... Wink
