Pictiger - "Missing or Deleted"

I normally use Pictiger for the thumbnails of the vids and picture sets I post and I discovered today that about 50% of the images I've posted since mid-July are dead. If I click on the dead images I get the message "missing or deleted". Has anyone else encountered this problem with Pictiger? I'm talking about possibly 300 or more images here. Many of them VLC snaps which I deleted after posting the thumbnails. I'm going to have to go through every post I've made in the last month and replace the missing images which is going to be a lot of hours work. (Not to mention the hours lost preparing the dead VLC snaps in the first place. I put a lot of time and effort into the presentation of my posts).

can anyone recommend another good image hosting site for thumbnails? (Imagevenue I know about).
