But in all seriousness, it works. If you're in the US and you kinda want an iPod or a PSP but not really, then why not give it a shot? I did the first offer for a friend who was begging and then I just stuck the link in my email and various forum sigs and forgot about it for a few months thinking it was BS. Then I started hearing these sites being hyped on TV and so I checked back. Sure enough, I had enough offers completed to get my first iPod. I did the same thing for the second ipod using a different company, and now I'm almost complete for the PSP.

I would definitely agree that its not worth it if you were really desperate to get one of these toys though, cause then you'd be grovelling to all of your friends and checking the site every 2 seconds. In that case, the stress is just not worth the $250. I've seen so many people just break down and buy one after a month or two of BS. In my case, I really don't like iPods, except maybe the shuffle, and I definitley don't have time to play PSP, so the experiences have all been very positive.
