The latest RipIt4Me, which uses DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink! Rips just about anything!
If you wanna rip to a DivX/XviD you might wanna try the doom9 forum there are also good guides. GordianKnot and AutoGK were once the tools, what are the tools now, I don't really know Smile

Is there a program out there that allows the user to select only a specific portion of a scene to rip to .wmv or .avi, etc? I have ImTOO DVD Ripper but it only rips by chapter, and most of the scenes I don't even want.

Thanks.

You can rip a portion of a dvd w/ programs like DVD Shrink, and then convert them to .avi, wmv, etc. with programs like Super, MediaCoder, etc. The best thing is all of these programs are freeware.

As mentioned, lots of info. on doom9. You can also try videohelp.com.
