Newsgroup - where is the porn?

Uuum, so, yeah. I just signed up at giganews, in hopes of coming over heaps of porn. But the only problem is that i cant find anything. So far I've only found spam, spam. And, believe it or not, even more spam.

So, the thing Im scratching my head about, where is the porn? Or did i just throw my money out the window?

Uhm just wondering: With a rapidshare premium account, you don't have enough porn on this site!? I can reap 5 GB per day no problem here and never run out of great stuff to download
Usually the porn on usenet is under alt.binaries, but then again: there is a lot under that particular umbrella

It's true thats there is alot of porn here, but I want to contribute too :p

usenet is something of a black art; good groups tend to shift around over time, as various ones fall in and out of favor.

Some one's that i hit at the moment include:

alt.binaries.models - currently in the midst of a huge war over the interpretation of the faq, which entails posting a lot of garbage.

alt.binaries.nospam.teenfem.nonude - see above. There are some good posts here, however.

alt.binaries.pictures.tease - has some good stuff (mostly old mywycowgirl stuff, and some Alisa's Kiss)

Generally though the best advice i can give is just to hit various things in the alt.binary hierarchy that look promising. Usenet's got some real gems, but you gotta find them out in the rough, pretty much.

The website "indexes" all the porn posted to newsgroups. In other words, they find it, show you where it is, and give you a NZB file which you can import into newsreaders and download the porn without having to download the entire set of headers in the group.

Its more one insane individual, Red Dog, and everyone else arguing how to deal with him. He sends in reports, and posts hundreds of thousands of gay pics and porn shit using other poster's in the group's nyms (sporging).

There is actually some good stuff posted there, but he uses this shit to drive away the posters and collectors because he got his feelings hurt once. You can tell its one pserson, all the shit comes from the same account even though it has different nyms...check the headers.

If you filter that one account, the groups are pretty normal except for a few text posts arguing how to get rid of the idiot, or just making fun of him. He crossposts the shit to non nude, petite (also a good group), youth and beauty, and some others.

But the sheer SIZE and number of usenet binary groups these days can be overwhelming for a noob... so if you are still scratching your head then I'd recommend that you try an easynews account for a month or two and use their secure web search to hunt down pr0n and stuff, and you can filter out a lot of the crap too (maybe giganews have a search tool too? I don't know) You'll soon discover the groups where all the good stuff is posted.

For starters, alt.binaries.ijsklontje is a group I'd thoroughly recommend... a very active group that post complete films, scenes and clips catering for all tastes

These are sometimes hit and miss but you can occasionally find some real gems. Just remember to be patient.

Just remember the newsgroups have a lot of ebb and flow to them. You have some groups that will always have decent stuff and some that are here one week and gone the next.
