IDM Help?

I've got a problem that maybe someone here could help me with, it's driving me absolutely batty:

I've tried FlashGot, Image Grabber, ipled_gui, and, finally Internet Download Manager- which I like. The problem is I am unable to snag full galleries of thumbs- at least not and have them end up as anything but thumbs in my download file. I follow IDMs directions, import, say, all the links on a given page, check only the ones that lead to .jpg files, click okay, and end up with a folder full of either 3 or 4KB thumbs or, worse, php links. I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm supposed to end up with the full-sized photos. I want to end up with the full-sized photos. Really, I do. Any ideas?
