The VIDEO CLIP thread "holy nature" has been deleted.
It's probably justified and mods are often right.

Just want to know about the reason of the suppression of this thread

many thanks

Your paragraph "it's probably justified and mods are often right" contains two mistakes. It should read ...
It's surely justified and mods are always right

Anyone with more authority than me will be answering you ... if (s)he considers (s)he has to do it ...

But think about this for a while ...

In the concerned thread there was a line of argument that stated ... "this film can be bought via Amazon or other online seller" ...

That fact do not exclude the enforcement of this forum's rules ... and once again, no <18 in any environment, clothing, nudity or whatsoever .. PERIOD.

I'd be very surprised if Amazon or any other reputable distributor were selling these because they could be prosecuted in many countries.

While the vids are basically non-sexual in nature, the authorities class them as though they are because some people find them erotic.

There's also the factor about consent regarding <18's appearing naked in vids and pics. Legally, in most countries, they are not considered to be old enough to consent to this themselves and parents are not allowed to give permission either. Even if it is legal in the country where the pics/vids were taken, the laws in other countries apply as though they were taken there.

It's ok to be there and see naked teenagers in places such as on certain beaches in Holland, but to capture images of them and distribute the results is not allowed.

Do you know anybody who is ALWAYS right ?
Not you, not me, nobody else...

Censorship is always a serious concern. Rules are not Mao Little Red Book and anybody here can question Mods decision. It's a democratic forum isn't it ?

I agree with the rest of the message and won't discuss it

blah blah blah ...

No one here may question Mods decisions, you the least with your fantastic postcount in ... more than 2 years !!

Continue questioning rules & Mods decisions and you will be invited (democratically, of course!) to close the door behind you ...

Of course moderators are right, Sir D more than any. I trust his judgement completely.

(I say this of course otherwise he might throw back his hood and reveal his true identity to me. I'd probably evaporate seeing what is hidden in there - Evil or Very Mad - lol )

rule 19. Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

Please could you rank the extent to which you trust the judgment of each of the the other mods.
thanks in advance

BTW I have a question wrt inappropriate content that we come across;
I would think the way to deal with it is NOT to post your complaint publicly in the forum and especially not in the thread itself, which just bumps it to everyone's attention - and also not to spell out precisely why it's inappropriate - something that had probably gone unseen - and the reason why it should NOT be downloaded, correct?
Idea Wouldn't take a genius to realize what's going on there, right?

I'm with SD on on the matter of questionable posts. If you see something that you feel violates the rules for any reason, please send any or all of us a PM explaining your concern.
Some days there is a massive amount of material posted here, and we are only human (well, perhaps some are super-human *grin*), so we sometimes miss things.

Cheers!
