the 4th of july

my dear dear friends...

tomorrow night, c. 9:17 EDT... my jess, my sweet jessica from chicago, is landing at reagan...

i'll take her for pizza and beers... then home for a quiet "tuck in"

on the morning of the 4th, c. 6:00 am, we drive home to my boston...

in boston we have family reservations for the fireworks display in the harbor...

all the while i shall be clutching and holding my jess... all the while so appreciative, grateful and thankful that she is here with me...

if you see the boston pops on PBS look for two 25-yr-old blonds kissin' and huggin'

we had the best pizza and beer in dc tonight then had a long long slow walk around the tidal basin...

we're off to boston tomorrow, an 8 hour drive... we'll leave early...
