Hi all.

I don't mean to sound contentious but I actually had a pang of conscience just now and felt I ought to write and solicit the opinions of others.

I like watching porn and couples screwing etc etc. However there are things within the industry which sometimes make me uncomfortable. As a viewer of porn I find the bleeding-heart liberal excuse that porn is exploitation to be ridiculous. The girls who appear in porn are mostly better paid than I am and they seem to occupy themselves in a job which they actually enjoy.

That's not to say that exploitation isn't a factor within the industry. 99% of times when you see so-called exploitation flicks they are staged using whores paid up front or professional porn actresses playing the exploited woman. No harm done. However I have just seen a clip from the "Excuse me" series where young girls show their wares for hard cash. No one appears to get hurt. Well, this is the elegant excuse I would make doing this film. But in truth, we all have a price. I wouldn't eat a dog shit sandwich. No way. Offer me a million and ask me again. As demonstrated by the film "The Magic Christian" with Ringo Starr - everyone has a price. (The concluding scene shows people jumping into a rancid cess pit to retrieve money thrown in).

The girl in the clip I saw was clearly NOT acting. She was not comfortable with what she was doing. People do have a price. I have. But along with that they often sell their dignity and no amount of persuasion will convince me otherwise. I know this is an unpopular view and I expect brickbats by the bucket load. "No one got hurt" "The girl had a choice" etc. But offer someone enough money and you remove that choice. In eating my shit sandwich I degrade, demean myself. I feel I lack the eloquence to express the pity I felt for the girl. Presumably broke, she took the cash and played with her pussy on film whilst obviously feeling uncomfortable. Maybe it's because I had three teenage daughters and can see one of my girls there. I don't know why. Personally I wonder if the girl was exploited through market forces. Once again: everyone has their price. That doesn't mean that ethics, feelings and basic human decency has to be sacrificed, does it?

You asked..."That doesn't mean that ethics, feelings and basic human decency has to be sacrificed, does it?"

Definitely something to think about. I think that if you want/need the money badly enough, those things HAVE to be sacrificed. I mean, why should someone pay you for something you love? I am NOT self promoting here, but look at the thread below.

https://www.forumophilia.com/topic23299.html

The girl in the short video I posted there is VERY upset, and the tears are not fake. Porn has become rougher over the years, and I imagine it will not be too long before "snuff" is the norm. I'm being extreme there, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised.

A lot of the girls in porn now are exactly that...GIRLS! Starting way too y****, and some so y**** that they might not have even had a choice. That is the sad part.

Yet...here I am, and so are the rest of us!

Hi there. You say "I think that if you want/need the money badly enough, those things HAVE to be sacrificed."

This is a pivotal point and here's the rub - if someone's willing to pay and someone's willing OR DESPERATE to earn then there's a contract. But seeking out the vulnerable and desperate for that contract pushes the envelope somewhat. I would willingly watch the same video again if the girl was a happy participant. In your other thread you said "poor girl". I could see from the stills the nature of the material and you're dead right. Poor Girl. I think more worrying is that this material is enjoyed on two levels. Charitably I will include the original poster in the first and say it's a video of a pretty young girl showing her stuff. On another level there are those who enjoy the humiliation factor. That's where they get their rocks off; from the more sinister aspects inherent in the flick.

You standard "in-out, in-out, shake-it-all-about" porn works on the first level and that's what I must confess I (and my girlfriend) enjoy watching. But the subtext of that "Excuse me" video does venture across to the other side and that worries me more than a bit.
The spam mail I get increasingly talks about Sluts and Bitches getting their tight holes getting stretched by extreme sex. Maybe that's advertising hyperbole, maybe it's true. Either way they are trying to reach people who are attracted by that wording.
As you say snuff movies is an extreme example of the the trend, but certainly the area in between straight porn and snuff/violence is becoming a very busy arena.
