flashget & megashares free

Using Firefox with flashgot. Flashget v 1.86.

I have had no success using these tools to get a file bigger than 250mb
from Megashares.

Google has not helped. Megashares forum has not helped.

Can someone here please set me straight?

As far as I know, there is no megashares forum.

To download a file bigger than 250mb you need a download manager. Just start downloading the file, when the file stops at 250mb, just wait for your passport to renew and resume the download, keep doing that until the whole file is downloaded.

Thanks for your responce, but if it was that easy I would not have asked.

Perhaps I should forget Flashget (it is the one suggested by the site - yes there is a useless forum) and use Go!zilla v3.5 which has served me very well for over 10 years.

Well try with two other download managers, and be sure to reactivate the passport manually.

If you have no success then email a rant to megashares.

Go!zilla v.3.5 worked. The server software is not great but I did eventually
get the whole movie in three downloads.
